Significa que el IRS no ha recibido el pago de un saldo de impuestos liquidado anteriormente. El contribuyente ya habr\u00e1 recibido avisos anteriores, y \u00e9ste indica que la situaci\u00f3n se est\u00e1 agravando.  <\/p>\n<p>El CP504 no es un recordatorio m\u00e1s: es un Aviso de Intenci\u00f3n de Embargo seg\u00fan el art\u00edculo 6331(d) del C\u00f3digo de Rentas Internas. Sirve como advertencia final antes de que el IRS emprenda acciones de cobro agresivas, como embargar las devoluciones de impuestos estatales o iniciar embargos federales. Comprender el contenido y las consecuencias del Aviso CP504 es fundamental para evitar graves repercusiones financieras.  <\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfQu\u00e9 incluye el Aviso CP504?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Importe adeudado<\/strong>: Incluye la deuda tributaria original, los intereses y las sanciones.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fecha de vencimiento<\/strong>: generalmente 30 d\u00edas a partir de la fecha de la notificaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Instrucciones de pago<\/strong>: Mediante m\u00e9todos electr\u00f3nicos, cheque o giro postal al Tesoro de EEUU.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Advertencias legales<\/strong>: Si no se toman medidas, el IRS puede embargar las devoluciones de impuestos estatales e iniciar otras medidas de ejecuci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Posibles acciones del IRS tras el CP504<\/h3>\n<p>Pueden ocurrir varias cosas si el contribuyente no responde, como por ejemplo:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Embargo de devoluci\u00f3n de impuestos estatales<\/strong>: Embargo inmediato sin previo aviso.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Embargo federal<\/strong>: Sobre salarios, cuentas bancarias, cuentas de jubilaci\u00f3n, bienes empresariales y personales, e incluso prestaciones de la Seguridad Social.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gravamen fiscal federal (NFTL)<\/strong>: Reclamaci\u00f3n de registro p\u00fablico sobre todos los bienes propiedad del contribuyente, que perjudica el cr\u00e9dito y la credibilidad financiera.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Revocaci\u00f3n o denegaci\u00f3n del pasaporte<\/strong>: Para ciertas deudas tributarias gravemente morosas seg\u00fan el IRC \u00a7 7345.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u00bfY si el contribuyente no est\u00e1 de acuerdo?<\/h3>\n<p>La notificaci\u00f3n CP504 puede impugnarse a trav\u00e9s de los siguientes medios:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Programa de Apelaci\u00f3n de Cobros (CAP)<\/strong>: Presenta el formulario 9423 para solicitar una revisi\u00f3n antes del cobro.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Audiencia del Debido Proceso de Recaudaci\u00f3n (CDP)<\/strong>: Si cumples los requisitos, solicita una audiencia conforme al art\u00edculo 6330 del IRC.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Solicitud de reducci\u00f3n de sanci\u00f3n o intereses<\/strong>: Presenta el formulario 843 o proporciona una explicaci\u00f3n por escrito con documentaci\u00f3n justificativa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Los contribuyentes deben leer atentamente el aviso y reunir los registros financieros pertinentes (por ejemplo, cheques cancelados, declaraciones corregidas) antes de ponerse en contacto con el IRS.<\/p>\n<h3>Relevancia para los contribuyentes<\/h3>\n<p>El aviso CP504 es una de las \u00faltimas oportunidades para resolver una deuda tributaria antes de que el IRS ejecute el cobro por medios legales.
